Meditation is not a technique but a way of life. Meditation means ‘a cessation of the thought process’ . It describes a state of consciousness, when the mind is free of scattered thoughts and various patterns . The observer (one who is doing meditation) realizes that all the activity of the mind is reduced to one.The word meditation, is derived from two Latin words : meditari (to think, to dwell upon, to exercise the mind) and mederi (to heal). Its Sanskrit derivation ‘medha’ means wisdom. At present many different kind of meditation is famous. But all meaning is same, just to control the mind and concentrate on one point. It is very difficult work to do control of mind. Because mind always think some things peoples get sleep, but mind doesn’t sleep mind can see good and bad dreams. When someone do meditation just his mind is focus only on one point, than he feel more enjoy during the meditation.As you focus your mind on your third eye, then your full attention is only on your third eye. After some time you can feel you are looking different colors, just like red, blue, green, white, orange & pink etc.
Few peoples see different flowers and some feel their body is getting warm up, and some feel cold. Few people feel vibration in their chakras of body. Everyone has a different kind of feelings. If you feel enjoy during the meditation than your mind will be control. And then you can’t feel the pain in your body and you will be able to sit for a long time in one position during the meditation. But if your mind doesn’t control than you feel little bit pain or tiredness in your body.
